I am a 2lb, 1.5 year old Chihuahua and I am one of the doggy models participating in the Homeless to Haute fashion show, to help other homeless pets like me.

I was recently rescued from Lancaster kill shelter and I am very skinny as I found the experience stressful and didn’t feel much like eating.  I am feeling much happier now I am out of the shelter and have got my appetite back!  The shelter is a scary place, and I didn’t even have a bed.

I am looking for a forever home and family to call my own.  Don’t let my initially shy demeanor fool you, I am a feisty fella with lots of energy to play!  I am very smart considering my brain is so tiny, and am leash, crate and house trained.  I have a thing for shoes and like the challenge of picking them up despite them being bigger than I am!  I am very affectionate and love to snuggle and be carried.  I am a happy boy and I show it by wagging my tail a LOT!  I am also a polite boy and get along with people and doggies.  I don’t wish for a home with young kids though, as I’m so tiny and delicate I could get hurt.
